This legislation is largely the same as the PROTECTS Act McCormick introduced in the 118th and he looks forward to this making it all the way to Pres. Trump's desk to be signed into law.

In a letter to Director-General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, the lawmakers highlighted a range of issues, including a lack of transparency, potential conflicts of interest, and the absence of rigorous evidence-based practices in the GDG's proposed guidelines.
