Gambaryan, a U.S. citizen and former Federal agent, has been detained in Nigeria since February 2024 on fabricated charges including tax evasion and money laundering.

Each year, high school students from around the country have the opportunity to submit artwork for the Congressional Art Competition. Students submit one piece of artwork to their Member of Congress, where one painting from the district is selected to be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year. The winning student, accompanied by a parent or guardian, is then honored with a reception in the district, as well as at a national awards reception in Washington, D.C. |
