NDAA FY2027

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Rich McCormick participated in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) markup. After nearly 14 hours of debate and negotiation, McCormick and his colleagues in the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) reviewed nearly 1,000 amendments, and it passed out of committee by a vote of 42-12.  H.R. 8800 will authorize $1.15 trillion for America's national defense. For nearly 65 consecutive years, the NDAA has been enacted into law and Congressman McCormick is hopeful that this year is no different.
