SAVE Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Rich McCormick proudly voted to pass H.R. 22, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, a bill he co-sponsored alongside original sponsor Rep. Chip Roy of Texas. The SAVE Act upholds the constitutional principle that voting in federal elections is a right reserved to American citizens and American citizens only.

This legislation is largely the same as the Economic Espionage Prevention Act McCormick introduced in the 118th.

WASHINGTON - Congressman McCormick, a staunch advocate of protecting women’s rights. Voted in support of H.R. 28, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2025. This vital legislation will amend Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. This bill outlines that schools receiving federal funding cannot allow biological men to participate in athletic programs or activities that are designed for women and girls. Furthermore, this bill protects the opportunities and achievements of female athletes and reserves a safe space for them to thrive.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Rich McCormick (GA 06) and Senator Roger Marshall (KS), both doctors, lead a bicameral group of 29 lawmakers in expressing serious concerns regarding the World Health Organization's (WHO) proposed Guideline Development Group (GDG) on the health of trans and gender diverse people. In a letter to Director-General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, the lawmakers highlighted a range of issues, including a lack of transparency, potential conflicts of interest, and the absence of rigorous evidence-based practices in the GDG's proposed guidelines.

The letter highlights the urgent need for rapid treatment options to minimize damage when TBI occurs and addresses the prevalence of mitochondria dysfunction in TBI patients.
