FY2027 Community Project Funding Submission Form

IMPORTANT NOTE: At This Time, The House Appropriations Committee Has Not Provided Guidance On Community Project Funding Submissions. This Form Will Be Updated Once That Information Becomes Available. If You Submit Your Form Prior To The Release Of The Guidance, You Will Be Asked To Provide Any Required Additional Information Not Provided In the Original Request.

For Fiscal Year 2027, the House Appropriations Committee will consider spending priorities directed by Members of Congress, known as “Community Project Funding.” Members may submit a very small number of suggested initiatives for consideration by the committee.

Community Project Funding provides Members of Congress the opportunity to request direct federal funding for specific projects in the communities they represent. These funds can finance a wide variety of public projects and activities, including the construction and renovation of facilities, the expansion of existing programs, and the planning and design of future initiatives.

Requests should include specific information on the project's benefits to the people throughout Georgia's 7th Congressional district in Cherokee, Lumpkin, Dawson, Hall, Forsyth, and Fulton Counties.

Throughout this form -- please submit as many specific details as possible. We want to fully understand the impact a funding allocation may have on our community.

Transparency is vital to this process, and there are additional requirements for the submission of community project requests which must be met in order to demonstrate eligibility. Please make sure you read all additional Community Project Funding guidance in order to submit your request properly. You must have all the required documentation prepared prior to submitting your request.

The Deadline for requests to be submitted to our office for consideration is March 20, 2026

Please note that while our office is accepting Community Project Funding requests related to our district, there is no guarantee that your request will be supported and submitted to the House Appropriations Committee.
