U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick misspoke when he commented about citizen reactions to the Trump administration's handling of Social Security -- at least, that’s what Georgia Rep. Rich McCormick seems to think.

The U.S. House voted Tuesday to approve Rep. Rich McCormick’s resolution reprimanding Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who is accused of making antisemitic remarks while participating in pro-Palestinian protests. Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene withdrew her similar resolution shortly before a final vote on McCormick’s bill. Her version failed to gain traction.

“Let me be clear, Rep. Tlaib’s words and actions were racist and hateful and she should be censured,” McCormick said. “That is why I am working with other conservatives to draft a new censure resolution to address Rep. Tlaib and her actions in a firm and honest manner. Israel and the Jewish community have my full support now and always.”

“Joe Biden doesn’t do a good job of anything because he just doesn’t have the mental faculties to make a good case,” McCormick told the DCNF. “He’s not able to make a good case – certainly not an authentic, genuine, real case for why we should be supporting Ukraine, but that doesn’t take the onus off of us to do the right thing.
