Congressman Rich McCormick Elected to Republican Policy Committee Leadership

WASHINGTON - Congressman Rich McCormick (GA-06) has been elected to serve as one of two Sophomore Representatives on the Republican Policy Committee and will join the sophomore class leadership team as one of four members for the 119th Congress.
“I am honored to represent Georgia’s 6th Congressional District and the Republican sophomore class on the Policy Committee,” said Congressman McCormick. “This is an incredible opportunity to shape and advance policies that protect our principles, grow our majority, and deliver meaningful results for the American people.”
As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, House Foreign Affairs Committee, House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Congressman McCormick has established himself as a trusted voice on critical issues facing the nation. His service on the Republican Study Committee’s Budget Taskforce and Steering Committees has further demonstrated his commitment to crafting bold, effective policies that uphold conservative values and address the most pressing challenges of the day.
